Daily Word Grid Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using the Daily Word Grid app, you agree to these terms and to the app's Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. The app is offered by Pom Studios.

2. Who can use the app

The app is intended for people aged 13 and over. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms.

3. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, for personal and non-commercial use, in line with these terms and the rules of the App Store or Google Play.

4. The game

A new puzzle is released every day and is free to play.
Puzzles, the dictionary, scoring and features may change over time. We may add, change or remove features.
Words are validated against our built-in English dictionary. A word missing from it, or accepted by it, is not a statement about the word's correctness or meaning.
Hints have no cash value, cannot be transferred and may expire at the end of the day.

5. Ads

The free version shows ads, including optional videos that give rewards such as hints. Rewards are given only as described in the app. Ads are provided by third parties, and we are not responsible for their content or for the products they advertise.

6. Premium

Premium is offered as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription (which may include a free trial) or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app and in the store before you buy.
Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends. You can manage or cancel them in your store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. Rights you have under consumer law where you live are not affected.
"Lifetime" means for as long as we offer the app and its Premium features.
Use "Restore purchases" in the app to recover Premium on a new device with the same store account.

7. Acceptable use

Do not:

use bots, scripts or other tools to play, collect puzzles or manipulate scores or rewards;
tamper with the device clock or the app to unlock puzzles or rewards;
copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the app, except where the law allows it;
interfere with the app, its servers or other players.

We may limit or block access if these terms are broken.

8. Intellectual property

The app, its design, puzzles, code and brand belong to Pom Studios or its licensors. The word lists are based on the English Speller Database (SCOWL) and other public sources, credited in the app under Profile > Licenses.

9. Availability and disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". We do our best to keep it working but do not guarantee that it will be free of errors or always available. We may stop offering the app. If we end Premium subscriptions, we will tell you in advance.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, Pom Studios is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data or progress stored on your device. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under the consumer law that applies to you.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for important changes, notify you in the app. If you keep using the app after the changes, you accept the new terms.

12. Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Disputes will be handled by the courts of São Paulo, Brazil, except where the consumer law of your country gives you the right to go to your local courts.
